How many porta potties does my party need?
A Lubbock party needs 1 standard porta potty per 50 guests for up to 4 hours. That's 1 unit for a 40-person birthday, 2 for an 80-person graduation party, and 3 for 100 guests over 6 hours. Add a unit if drinks flow all afternoon. The planner below adjusts for night events, wind and accessibility.
What's the rental for?
How big is it?
What's the site like?
On the South Plains, wind and freezes change how we set a unit, not how many you need.
Check your gate width with the gate fit checker before we roll a truck.
Events: 1 unit per 50 guests for up to 4 hrs, +1 per 4 for longer events, PSAI chart for 500+, +15% with drinks, at least 5% accessible. Crews: OSHA 1926.51, 1910.141 or 1928.110 minimums vs. PSAI's 1 unit per 10 workers. Full method.
What do renters ask about this kind of job?
These are real questions from rental calls, word for word. The answers are on this page.
“What happens if we get to like Thursday, and the forecast looks like it's thunderstorms all weekend?”
“I don't know what standard means.”
“They come stocked with toilet paper or whatever, right?”
What do our party & event setups look like?
These are real photos of units on party & event jobs, showing placement, interiors and how they arrive. Every unit is pumped, washed and restocked before it leaves the 34th Street yard.

What if the forecast turns on us?
Cancel free up to 24 hours before drop-off. For a Saturday event, that's Thursday by 3 PM. If thunderstorms, hail or a dust event threaten, call and we'll move your date instead. Weather isn't your fault, so we don't charge for it.
A business owner booking two units for a weather-permitting car show asked, "What happens if we get to like Thursday, and the forecast looks like it's thunderstorms all weekend?" He cancelled on Thursday at no charge and rebooked for the rain date.
Why does the unit come the day before?
Event units arrive the day before because drop-offs run 8 AM to 5 PM and we won't risk a late truck on your event day. Weekend events drop Friday and pick up Monday at no extra cost, so early guests and setup crews have a restroom from the start.
| Event day | Drop-off | Pickup |
|---|---|---|
| Friday night | Thursday or Friday AM | Saturday or Monday |
| Saturday | Friday | Monday |
| Sunday | Friday | Monday |
| Weekday | Day before | Day after |
What callers ask before they book
Every question below was asked on a real rental call. The short answer comes first, then the conditions that change it.
Is it priced by the day?
No, events are priced per event. One day or five costs the same, because the cost is the truck trip, the cleaning and the pickup. That's why weekend parties get a Friday drop-off and a Monday pickup at no extra charge.
Do you deliver on Saturday?
We run trucks Monday through Saturday. Weekend events are normally dropped Friday and picked up Monday at no extra charge, so the unit is waiting for you before the first guest arrives.
What if the weather forecast turns bad?
Cancel free up to 24 hours before drop-off. For a Saturday event, that's Thursday by 3 PM. If storms or a dust event threaten, call and we'll move your date instead of cancelling. Weather isn't your fault, and we don't charge for it.
Does it come stocked with toilet paper?
Yes. Every unit arrives pumped, sanitized and stocked with toilet paper. Standard units have hand sanitizer. Deluxe units and handwash stations add soap and paper towels. Long-term units are restocked every week.
What does a standard porta potty mean?
A standard unit is the regular single-stall porta potty: toilet seat, urinal, holding tank, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. No flush, no sink, no hookups. It's right for jobsites, car shows, field days and casual parties.
How many people per porta potty?
Plan 1 standard unit per 50 guests for an event up to 4 hours. PSAI rates a unit at about 200 uses between services. Longer events, alcohol and mostly female crowds need more units or a mid-event service.
Can people see inside at night?
Standard and deluxe units have a translucent roof that lights them by day, but no electric lights. For evening events we add stick-on battery lights inside each unit. Restroom trailers have built-in lighting and work with a generator.
How much is a porta potty rental in Lubbock?
A standard event unit starts at $249 with delivery and pickup. Deluxe flushing units with a sink start at $445 each when you rent two or more. Construction units start at $165 per 28-day cycle with weekly service. A $29.95 fuel charge and tax apply. Your quote shows every line.
