Who is Scott Rental Works?
Scott Rental Works is the Lubbock company behind Lubbock Porta Potty Rentals. We rent, deliver, service and pick up portable restrooms from our yard at 2201 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79411. The phone is answered Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM, by the dispatch team that routes the trucks.
We built the business around the complaint we heard most: "Everybody's telling me they're going to get back to me, but they never do." So the person who answers our phone can see the trucks, give you a yes or no on your date, and quote every line before you pay. If we can't do it, we say so on the first call.
How do you clean a unit before it goes out?
Every unit goes through six steps at the yard before it leaves. We pump it, pressure-wash it inside and out, disinfect every touch point, add fresh deodorizer, restock it, and inspect the latch, vent, roof and tank. Event units live in a separate fleet from jobsite units, so party guests get the cleanest stock.
- Pump the tank completely.
- Pressure-wash walls, floor, seat, urinal and exterior. Spring dust comes off here.
- Disinfect the door handle, latch, seat and dispensers.
- Add fresh deodorizer.
- Restock paper, sanitizer, soap and towels.
- Inspect latch, vent, roof and tank, and tag any unit that fails.
Where does the waste go?
Waste from our units goes only to permitted treatment facilities, hauled by registered transporters. In Texas, chemical toilet waste haulers must register with TCEQ as sludge transporters under 30 TAC Chapter 312. In New Mexico, 20.7.3 NMAC requires disposal at permitted facilities and three years of records.
What do we promise every renter?
We promise five things: a yes or no on your date during the first call, an itemized quote before you pay, a driver call about 30 minutes before arrival, a clean and stocked unit or a free swap, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before drop-off. Weather reschedules are free.
