Which kind of rental fits my job?
Match the rental to how long the unit stays and who uses it. One to five days is an event or weekend rental. Anything past a week is a monthly or construction rental billed every 28 days with weekly service. Oilfield and farm crews follow their own OSHA tables.
What callers ask before they book
Every question below was asked on a real rental call. The short answer comes first, then the conditions that change it.
Is it priced by the day?
No, events are priced per event. One day or five costs the same, because the cost is the truck trip, the cleaning and the pickup. That's why weekend parties get a Friday drop-off and a Monday pickup at no extra charge.
What's your basic monthly fee?
A standard jobsite unit starts at $165 per 28-day cycle. That includes delivery inside our local area and one pump, clean and restock every week. A $29 removal fee is charged once at the end. There's no contract, and billing stops at the end of the cycle when you call.
Does the city require a porta potty on my build?
Lubbock adopted the 2021 International Plumbing Code, and section 311.1 says toilet facilities shall be provided for construction workers and kept sanitary. OSHA 1926.51 sets the counts for employers. Builders who skip it get flagged. Ask your inspector what they expect on your permit.
What are the rules for an oilfield location?
OSHA says drilling and servicing fall under general industry, 29 CFR 1910.141. That means 1 toilet for 1–15 employees, 2 for 16–35, 3 for 36–55, and up from there. Mobile crews with quick transport to facilities are exempt. Site prep and pad building count as construction.
Do harvest crews need toilets?
Yes, on farms with 11 or more hand laborers. OSHA 1928.110 requires 1 toilet and 1 handwashing facility per 20 workers, within a quarter-mile walk, unless crews are in the field 3 hours or less. Towable units move with the crew.
