What does a standard porta potty look like?
These are real photos of our standard porta potty setups, showing outside, inside and placement on site. Every unit is pumped, pressure-washed and restocked at the 34th Street yard before it leaves, and event units never double as jobsite units.

What do renters ask about this unit?
These are real questions from rental calls, in the caller's own words. Each one is answered on this page or in the questions below, short answer first.
“I don't know what standard means.”
“I just wanted to know what your basic rental fee is for a porta potty per month.”
“They come stocked with toilet paper or whatever, right?”
Will a standard unit blow over in Lubbock wind?
No, not when it's staked. A standard unit weighs about 175 pounds empty, and spring gusts on the South Plains can top 60 mph. On every open lot we drive stakes or strap the unit to a fixed point, and we turn the door away from the south wind.
- Pick a level, firm spot within about 10 feet of truck access.
- Stake or strap the unit on open lots, fields and new-build sites.
- Face the door north or east, away from the prevailing south wind.
- Leave staked units in place. Text us if one needs to move.
Will it fit through my gate?
A standard unit is 43.5 inches wide, so it needs a 48-inch gate at minimum, and 60 inches lets the crew walk it through upright. Slide your gate width below. If it won't fit, we set the unit in the driveway or at the alley edge of your lot.
What callers ask before they book
Every question below was asked on a real rental call. The short answer comes first, then the conditions that change it.
What does a standard porta potty mean?
A standard unit is the regular single-stall porta potty: toilet seat, urinal, holding tank, toilet paper and hand sanitizer. No flush, no sink, no hookups. It's right for jobsites, car shows, field days and casual parties.
Does it come stocked with toilet paper?
Yes. Every unit arrives pumped, sanitized and stocked with toilet paper. Standard units have hand sanitizer. Deluxe units and handwash stations add soap and paper towels. Long-term units are restocked every week.
How much is a porta potty rental in Lubbock?
A standard event unit starts at $249 with delivery and pickup. Deluxe flushing units with a sink start at $445 each when you rent two or more. Construction units start at $165 per 28-day cycle with weekly service. A $29.95 fuel charge and tax apply. Your quote shows every line.
Is it priced by the day?
No, events are priced per event. One day or five costs the same, because the cost is the truck trip, the cleaning and the pickup. That's why weekend parties get a Friday drop-off and a Monday pickup at no extra charge.
How many people per porta potty?
Plan 1 standard unit per 50 guests for an event up to 4 hours. PSAI rates a unit at about 200 uses between services. Longer events, alcohol and mostly female crowds need more units or a mid-event service.
Will the wind blow it over?
Not when it's set right. Lubbock averages about 12.4 mph wind, and spring gusts and dust storms can top 60 mph, so we stake or strap units on open lots and face doors away from the south wind. Never untie a staked unit to move it.
Can I move it after you drop it?
Please don't. Full units tip, leak and crack, and staked units can pull loose. Text us a photo of the new spot and the driver will reposition it on the next visit. For film crews we can leave a trailer hitch unlocked by agreement.
How often do you clean it?
Long-term units get serviced once a week. Each visit we pump the tank, disinfect, scrub, deodorize and restock. Event units arrive clean. Busy sites, summer heat and multi-day events can add extra services.
